Each year, the UEC sponsors the Users' Meeting, bringing together scientists from all over the world and from a diverse range of disciplines to discuss scientific research conducted at the ALS. Here is the agenda from the recent 2007 ALS Users' Meeting and the Synchrotron Radiation News report (pdf file) of the 2006 Users Meeting meeting. Please see the recently revised ALS User Advisories for safety guidelines and procedure for users of the ALS. A new website Lightsources.org represents lightsources around the world, and provides the latest information and news on synchrotron sources and free-electron lasers. The ALS is one of the American sponsors of this website, along with the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, the National Synchrotron Light Source, and the Advanced Photon Source. |
